Someone decided to buy about 60 of those where I work and we were asked to develop an app for it that would place marketing material (including h.264 video) in the hands of salespeople. It was excruciating. The developer documentation is very nearly nonexistent. I didn't even have to write the code and it gave me a headache. Also, without the made-famous-by-Apple oleophobic coating, this thing is slippery. It feels as if the device was rubbed with vegetable oil after very little use. Be careful holding this thing, it is heavy, and it is slippery. No wonder it's cracking at the speakers.
